Dashboards are the overview screens you build yourself, pulling together your domains, servers, monitors and more into one view. This article is for anyone who wants a custom at-a-glance look at their infrastructure.

## Overview
- Dashboards live under **Dashboards** in the menu.
- You can build as many as you like and share them with your team.
- When you sign in, InfraNest opens on **Home** by default, which shows what needs your attention right now.
- If you'd rather open straight into a dashboard — for a wall screen, say — you can set that under **My account → Preferences → What InfraNest opens on**.

## How dashboards work

1. **They're made of widgets.** Each widget shows one thing — a count, a chart, or a status tile for a part of InfraNest. You choose which widgets to show and where they go.
2. **You can have several.** Keep one dashboard for domains and another for servers, for example. Set one as your default so it opens first when you go to **Dashboards**.
3. **Presets give you a head start.** Instead of building from scratch, pick a ready-made layout (Overview, Domains & DNS, Drop Catch, Servers & Cloud, Monitoring) and tweak it from there.
4. **Some widgets show trends over time.** A date range control at the top lets you look back over the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months.

> [!NOTE]
> You can create up to 20 dashboards.

## Next steps

- **Create and customize a dashboard** — add, move and resize widgets, and start from a preset.
- **Share a dashboard** — let your team view or edit it.
