Help is available on every page in InfraNest, so you can find answers without losing your place.

## Overview
- Open quick, page-aware help from anywhere in InfraNest without navigating away.
- The panel leads with whatever is most likely to help: a service notice, an error explanation, an article about the page you're on, or a way to ask a question.
- Search the same articles from inside the panel or from the full help centre.

## Open the help panel
1. Select the **?** button in the bottom-right corner of any page, or press **Shift + H**.
2. On a phone, select the **?** button in the top bar, next to search — help opens as a full-screen sheet.
3. Review what the panel shows first, in order of likely relevance:
   - **A notice from us** — appears if we're dealing with an incident of our own, with what we're doing and a link to our status page.
   - **Why is this failing?** — appears if the page you're on shows an error from one of your providers, explaining it and linking to the fix.
   - **Help for this page** — the article about what you're looking at, with related articles underneath (or **Articles about this page** if there's no single article covering it as a whole).
   - **Ask us a question** — opens a chat with our support team, who can already see which page you were on.

> [!NOTE]
While we're dealing with an incident of our own, the **?** button gets an amber ring, so you'll know before you even open the panel. Planned maintenance doesn't change the button.

## Search for an article
1. Open the help panel using the **?** button or **Shift + H**.
2. Press **/** to jump straight to the search box, or select it directly.
3. Type what you need, and matching articles appear without leaving the panel.

## Ask a question or give feedback
1. Open the help panel.
2. To talk to support, select **Ask us a question** — this opens a chat that already knows what page you were on and what you looked up.
3. To report a bug or share an idea instead, select **Give feedback** at the bottom of the panel.
4. Pick what your feedback is about. The form then asks for what helps us most: for a bug, what you did and what happened; for an idea, what you're trying to get done.
5. Submit the form. It automatically includes the page you're on and, if something just failed, its reference.

> [!TIP]
**Give feedback** isn't a support ticket — if you need an answer, use **Ask us a question** instead.

When support replies, a dot appears on the **?** button and the panel shows **New reply from support**. If we ship something you suggested through **Give feedback** (or decide not to), you'll hear about it in your notifications, with a link back to the page you were on.

## Browse or search all help
1. Open the help panel.
2. Browse every article grouped by topic, or use the search box to find a specific one.
3. Select **Open the full help centre** at the bottom of the panel to see the same articles on their own page — handy for sharing a link to one.

You can also reach the help articles at any time from your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then **Help & docs**.

## Tips
- New accounts see an extra **Getting started** entry in the help panel for their first month.
- On desktop, select **Keyboard shortcuts** at the bottom of the panel to see every shortcut available (this option isn't shown on a phone).
