Ask like you’d ask a colleague

No dashboards to click through, no exports to paste. Ask your question and the assistant looks it up in InfraNest: your domains, DNS, servers, certificates and monitoring, across every registrar, DNS host and cloud you connected. You get real names, dates and numbers back.

  • “Which domains expire in the next 30 days?”
  • “Where does mail.example.com point, and when did that change?”
  • “Which servers are running out of disk space?”
  • “Which monitors were down last night, and for how long?”
  • “What was our uptime last month, per monitor?”

Connected in a minute. No token to copy.

In Claude or ChatGPT, add InfraNest as a connector, sign in and click Allow. That’s all. You pick one organization, and the assistant works only there. Developer tools like Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code connect with an API token instead.

  • Claude and ChatGPT: add one address, sign in, done
  • Added on claude.ai? It works in the Claude desktop and mobile apps too
  • Try it first on your free sandbox, with sample data
  • Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Desktop connect with an API token (Pro and up)

It can look, never touch

Every tool the assistant gets is a read. It can’t create, change or delete anything. It sees only what you can see yourself, in the organization you picked. Every request lands in your audit log, and one click removes it.

  • Read-only by design: nothing it does changes anything
  • Your role decides what it sees
  • Secrets stay out: transfer codes, certificate files, tokens and data exports are never returned
  • Every request is in the audit log, under the assistant’s name
  • Remove it under My account → Authorized apps and access ends at once

What you can ask about

Twenty tools, one for each question people actually ask, and a general one for anything else the API can read.

Status at a glance

Is everything up right now? One question covers every monitor, open incident and maintenance window.

Monitors and incidents

Uptime, response times, recent check results and the full timeline of an incident.

Servers

Every server across your clouds, with its latest CPU, memory and disk, and what needs attention.

DNS records

Every zone and record, plus a search across all of them: “which records point at 192.0.2.10?”

Domains

Expiry dates, auto-renew, registrar and nameservers for every domain you hold.

Certificates

Every certificate InfraNest tracks, with its expiry date.

Audit log

Who changed what, and when. “Who changed the DNS for shop.example.com this week?”

Uptime reports

Monthly uptime per monitor, ready to drop into a client report.

Finding the answer: by hand vs asking

The question is simple. Getting the answer usually isn’t.

By hand

  • Log in to every registrar to check expiry dates
  • Open three DNS dashboards to find one record
  • Export uptime data and build the report yourself
  • Dig through old emails to see who changed what
  • Paste screenshots into a chat and hope it reads them right

With InfraNest and your assistant

  • One question covers every registrar you connected
  • Search DNS records across all your zones at once
  • Ask for last month’s uptime, per monitor
  • Ask the audit log who changed it, and when
  • The assistant reads your live data, not a screenshot

One login, ten modules

Every module is in every plan, Free included — what changes is how much of each you get, plus a few advanced features from Pro.

The cost of doing it separately

Buy each piece from a different tool and it adds up fast:

Uptime monitoring

Also in Pro, not counted above: 100 domains with DNS, 10 servers across your cloud providers, 25 automations, Dynamic IP and Drop Catch.

AI assistant questions

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. InfraNest’s MCP server gives your assistant a set of read tools — list your domains, search your DNS, check your monitors — so it answers from your account instead of guessing.

Which assistants work with it?

Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect to https://api.infranest.io/mcp. In ChatGPT, custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and settings.

Is it free?

Yes. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT works on every InfraNest plan, Free included, at no extra cost. Connecting a developer tool such as Cursor or Claude Code uses an API token, which needs Pro or higher — or a test token in your free sandbox.

Can the assistant change my DNS or delete something?

No. Every tool is a read: it can look things up, but it can’t create, change or delete anything. If it suggests a change, you make it yourself in InfraNest, or with a script you run through the API.

What can it see?

Only the organization you picked, and only what your role there allows. Secrets are never returned: domain transfer codes, certificate files, agent and deploy tokens, status page subscriber lists and data exports.

Where does my data go?

What the assistant reads goes to the assistant you chose — Claude, ChatGPT or your editor — under that provider’s terms, just like anything you type into it. InfraNest sends only what the assistant asks for, within the access you gave it.

How do I disconnect an assistant?

In InfraNest, open My account → Authorized apps and click Remove. Access ends at once. An assistant you don’t use for 30 days has to be connected again anyway.

Can I try it without real data?

Yes. Create a free sandbox under My account → Developer and pick it when you connect. The assistant then reads sample domains, DNS zones, monitors and a server, so you can see what it answers first.
