Manage Webhook from InfraNest
Connect any tool that speaks HTTP, in either direction
Move events between InfraNest and anything that can send or receive an HTTP request.
- Send events out: get notified the moment things like certificate expiry, DNS record changes, domain status, dynamic IP changes, server status or monitor alerts happen, without polling for them yourself.
- Verify what arrives: a signing secret lets your receiver confirm a delivery really came from InfraNest, not check it blindly.
- Trigger InfraNest from anywhere: InfraNest generates a URL for you, so any tool that can POST to it — even one with no InfraNest integration — can start an automation.
- Protect that trigger: set a shared secret so a leaked URL alone isn't enough to set off your automations, and regenerate it if it ever gets out.
- See what happened: a delivery log shows what was sent, what arrived, and how your endpoint responded, so you're not guessing when something goes quiet.
NoteThis integration only moves events — it doesn't read or manage servers, DNS or domains itself.

How to connect it

Add an endpoint to send events out
Go to Integrations → Custom webhook, under Where events go select Add endpoint, and paste the URL your system listens on.

Save the signing secret
Copy the signing secret shown once after saving and give it to your receiver so it can verify deliveries.

Test it, then choose what gets sent
Select Send test event to confirm your receiver accepts it, then use Start an automation that posts to Custom webhook to pick which events go out.

Add an incoming URL if you need the other direction
Go to Integrations → Custom webhook → URLs we give you, select Add incoming URL, name it, and optionally set a shared secret before pasting Your URL into the other tool.
Questions
#Do I need an API key for this?
No. You supply a URL for InfraNest to post to, and InfraNest generates a URL for you to post to. There's no credential to create on either side.
#Can InfraNest manage my servers or DNS through this integration?
No. Custom webhook only moves events in and out — managing servers, DNS or domains stays with InfraNest's provider integrations.
#How do I know if a delivery actually went out or arrived?
Check Recent deliveries, which logs what was sent, what arrived, and how your endpoint responded, for both outgoing and incoming traffic.
#Can I turn off one incoming URL without affecting others?
Yes. Accept calls to this URL switches a single incoming URL off without deleting it or touching any others you've set up.
