Add and import domains

Bring the domains you own into InfraNest so you can monitor, manage, and renew them all in one place — no manual setup needed.

Overview

• Domains come into InfraNest by connecting the registrar they're registered at.
• Once a registrar is connected, its domains are imported automatically and kept up to date on a schedule.
• You can also move a domain into a connected registrar by transferring it in.

Import domains automatically

1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
2. Find the registrar your domains are registered with and select Connect an account.
3. Follow the prompts to finish connecting the registrar.
4. Once connected, all domains owned there are imported into Domains and refreshed on a regular schedule — no further action needed.

NoteDomains are always managed through a connected registrar. To add a domain, connect the registrar it's at — there's no separate "add domain" step for existing domains.

Transfer a domain in

1. Go to Domains and select Transfer domain in.
2. Choose Select a registrar… to pick the connected registrar you want to transfer the domain to.
3. Enter the domain and its Transfer / EPP code when prompted.
4. Review the checks InfraNest runs before starting — including Transfer lock, the 60-day rule, how close the domain is to Expires, and whether a hidden approval address could block the transfer.
5. Resolve any flagged issues, then select Continue to start the transfer.

TipRunning these checks first means you find out about a blocked transfer immediately, instead of waiting on it for a week.

Troubleshooting

• A domain isn't showing up — Make sure the registrar it's registered with is connected under Integrations. Domains only appear once their registrar is linked.
• Transfer won't start — Check the Transfers & EPP details on the domain for the specific reason, such as a Transfer lock, an expiry date that's too close, or a pending registrant change.
