About domains

InfraNest brings all your domains — from every registrar you connect — into one list, so you can see what you own, when each renews, and manage them without logging into each registrar separately. This article is for anyone new to the Domains area of InfraNest.

Overview

• See every domain you own in one place, no matter which registrar it's registered with.
• Manage domains directly from InfraNest, instead of logging into each registrar separately.
• Get early warnings before a domain expires, and one-click fixes for common security gaps.

See all your domains

1. Open Domains from the sidebar.
2. Use the stat tiles at the top — Active, Expiring soon, Expired — to quickly filter the list by clicking one.
3. Use Search, Filter and Tags to narrow the list further.
4. Check the columns for each domain's registrar, expiry date, auto-renew status and overall Status.
5. Click Add domain to search for and register a new domain, or use the row actions next to any domain to open or manage it.

Open and review a single domain

1. From the Domains list, click into any domain to open it.
2. Review the overview — registrar, important dates, Status, nameservers, security settings and renewal price.
3. Use the Quick Actions panel to Renew, get the EPP / auth code, or jump straight to its DNS zone.
4. Check the Security Advisor for any flagged issues and recommended fixes.
5. Scroll down to see contacts, nameserver health, a WHOIS lookup, and the Activity history for that domain.

Manage a domain

1. Open the domain you want to change.
2. Use Edit domain to update details, or the relevant section to change nameservers, turn on Transfer lock, enable WHOIS privacy, Auto-renew or DNSSEC.
3. Update contacts under Contacts, or reveal the transfer code from Get EPP / auth code.
4. Click Save changes when you're done. If a setting can't be changed, it will be greyed out with a reason shown — this means it isn't supported by that registrar or domain ending.

NoteOnly actions supported by your registrar and domain ending are shown as active. Anything unsupported is greyed out with an explanation, so you'll never hit an unexpected error.

TipUse the Security Advisor on a domain's page to fix common issues — like a missing transfer lock — in one click, instead of hunting through settings.
